DESCRIPTION
The EUP series speakers are our flag ship PA speakers boasting every top line US component we get our hands on and built like a tank for concert venue applications.
The EUP speakers are a product of 8 years in design. Matching the woofers to the cabinet for smooth and responsive bottom end and achieving the right components so that the over all sound is as accurate (linear) as possible. The EUP speakers have US made Eminence Omega Pro 15A woofers for maximum power handling and quality of sound. One woofer alone retails for over $250.
LF Driver--- Eminence Omega Pro 15A with a 109oz. magnet, cast frame basket and high power 4" voice coil. This woofer can be rated at 800 watts RMS because of its larger gauge wire voice coil and epoxy baking time. Superior construction, joint glues and quality components are what you get with a US made woofer and something you should seriously appreciate.
HF Driver--- The EUP series utilizes a 3" diaphragm and voice coil, 2" throat Titanium tweeter with a 50oz. magnet. Those that know 2" throats, know these drivers don't come cheap. The MT15 handles massive power and abuse. Not only that but has the ability to handle 800hz with ease.
Crossover--- The EUP speakers are bi-amp only, they are designed to work with an electronic crossover. The specifications of the speaker show the individual frequency response of each driver instead of the whole.
Construction--- Of course only the best wood is used (3/4" 13ply US Birch). Internally the EUP speakers are braced on every panel and from front to back in multiple locations. We also brace the top and bottom joints so that multiple cabinets can be rigged below another. The cabs are stapled, glued and screwed together for maximum strength and durability. Our spray coating system is like any other top name brand truck bed liner spray. We apply a thick, flawless coat that will last a lifetime. It takes nearly 4 days for one man to manufacture an EUP speaker from start to scratch. Each detail is carefully looked after every step of the way.
