The folded horn cabinet was designed to deliver crushing bass response that is in your face and extremely present at close range yet can still throw a long distance.

Massive efficiency and power handling are the key features here. Imagine it like a tuba in a way, blowing into a small mouth piece and into a smaller tube that gradually gets larger until the sound comes barreling out at tremendous volume and depth from the horn flare.

The folded horn works like this, compressing the sound into a small sealed chamber and then forcing it through a small opening and then into the folded horn. This increases the SPL and deep bass response AT the cabinet rather than having to be 60 feet away before deep bass is realized.

Loaded with the Madison Executioner X18 that has a 4” copper clad aluminum voice coil, 200oz. magnet and cast aluminum basket, this 750 watt RMS folded horn is ready for anything.

The MAS-18F is a little different from other more common folded horn cabinets. The 18 fires directly into the back plate of the cabinet and utilizes a larger internal chamber for the driver. This allows for deeper bottom end while still not sacrificing the mass amount of SPL a folded horn cabinet should produce.

The over all improvement to our type of folded horn is added bottom end, zero air flutter, sharper natural cutoff frequency and increased SPL between 60 and 100hz.

The woofer is accessed from the top via a well attached panel. The cabinet is braced along each internal edge as well as cross braced.
