THE LOUD

2006 was a banner year for the band. The Loud Militia hit the road on June
5th to wreak havoc for 30 days on the 2006 Extreme Tour. The group has also been
receiving radio play in 54 cities across the U.S. and Canada on the RED LETTER
ROCK 20 Countdown. 2006 also marked the release of the group’s second full-
length CD, This Fragile Silence, mixed by major label producer Kenny Lewis (Stryper,
Freddy Jackson, Fat Joe). In addition to causing widespread panic at shows, the
group has also picked up some pretty heavy and super-supportive sponsors over
the past few years: SIT Strings, , Sperzel Tuning Keys, Vater Drum Sticks, and
most recently KAHLER Tremolo Systems, and MADISON Amplifiers to name a few.
CURRENTLY: The band is recording their third full-length CD, “From the mouth of
the Metatron.” The Disk is slated to be produced by Brian Patrick of Sinomatic
fame (Atlantic) at Jungle Studios in Lorain, OH. The Disk will once again
feature photography form renowned photographer Jason Shaffer and will be
mastered at The Lodge in NYC by Engineer Emily Lazar, (David Bowie, The Rolling
Stones, Garbage, and The Wu-Tang Clan. The new record promises to be as
punishing sonically as the last record was visually. After the release of
Metatron this fall the group will be busting tail to secure a spot one of next
year’s festival tours. This time around, they are not taking any prisoners, and
they certainly are not leaving any survivors.
